Place projects

Everyone's "place" project turned out really nice. My fav was the observation team, because it was outdoors, personal, and highly interactive w/the elements. The team created a relevant narrative using a pure, simple, personalized method. It was a fantastic way to use old media--getting outdoors and observing. Observing the surroundings is a really great way to gain knowledge and understanding about a place and its people.  Place is very important to me because it involves land and I love the land-per se. New (digital) media is cool; but, I'm a fan of the good old fashion way of communication and gathering information--live interaction!
After it is edited I will post the new media recording of the observation team's live interaction at the historic observation tower on Rutgers University Old Queens College campus. Kim
